ISTANBUL (AP) — Turkey's interior ministry says 235 people have been detained in anti-terrorism operations across the nation.
The state-run Anadolu Agency quoted the ministry as saying 235 people in 11 cities were arrested on terrorism-related charges and for spreading terrorist propaganda on social media.
The report did not specify the name of the organization targeted or whether the individuals rounded up were suspected of involvement in a Saturday night attack in Istanbul that killed 44 people.
